You can permanently delete your account and everything in it. Two ways: from
inside the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have the app installed.
1. In the app — immediate
Open ScribeLLM and go to Settings.
Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete my account.
Enter your password to confirm.
Your password is asked for so that a stolen unlocked phone cannot erase
every recording you own.
2. Here, on this page — no app needed
Enter the email address on the account. We send a 6-digit code to it, and deletion
happens once you enter that code — so only someone who can read that inbox can
delete the account.
This is irreversible. Entering the code deletes the
account, every recording, transcript and note immediately.
What is deleted
Your account, name and email address
Every conversation, including the audio recordings themselves
Every transcript and every generated note
Any sections you created, and participant names you entered
The record of emails we sent you
Deleting in the app is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery
period and we cannot restore anything afterwards, so export what you want to keep first.
What is retained, and for how long
Nothing is kept for our own use. We do not retain a shadow copy of your
recordings, transcripts or notes.
Backups. Deleted records may persist in encrypted infrastructure backups
for up to 35 days, after which they expire automatically. They are not
accessible to the product during that time.
Emails you already sent. Notes you emailed to yourself or anyone else
remain in those inboxes. We cannot recall them.
Third-party AI services. Deepgram, OpenAI, Google and Anthropic process
your audio or transcript to return a result and retain it only under their own policies;
we do not permit them to use it for training. Deleting here does not reach their
transient logs.
This page is also the deletion route for anyone who has uninstalled
ScribeLLM. You do not need the app, or an active session, to have your data erased —
email us as described above.
